1. Using lovelee

You need to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age where you live) to use lovelee. You're responsible for your account and for what you send through it.

2. lovelee pro subscriptions

lovelee is free to download and use. lovelee pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) that adds extras. One pro covers both partners on the same boat.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. If you're offered a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.

Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change; we'll tell you before a new price applies to you. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

3. Your content

You own what you create in lovelee: letters, doodles, photos, answers and everything else. You let us store it and show it to you and your partner so the app works. Please don't send anything illegal or hateful, or anything you don't have the right to share.

4. Your license to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use lovelee on devices you own or control. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or its art.

5. Apple's terms

If you got lovelee from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and lovelee, not Apple, and Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support.

6. Not counseling

lovelee is for fun and connection. It isn't a substitute for professional relationship counseling, therapy or advice.

7. No warranties

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, lovelee isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using lovelee and delete your account at any time in the app's settings (how to delete your account). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app or by email. Using lovelee after an update means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules.
